Events at this location

The 2024 National Saamtrek will be held at the Forever Resorts Gariep Dam, all our central activities will take place at the Resort.

11 October 2024: 

19h00: Bring & Braai at the Resort– The fire, pap & sous, salads, and cutlery will be provided. Bring your own meat or meat packs will be available for sale. No own alcoholic drinks allowed.

 Saterdag 12 Oktober 2024:

 07h30 – 08h30:                       Individual Photo Shoot/ Individuele Foto’s – Venue TBA

 09h45 – 10h00:                       AGM registration & for those that did not register on Friday/ AJV registrasie & vir die wat nie Vrydag geregistreer het nie. Main Hall

 10h00 – 11h30:                       Annual General Meeting / Algemene Jaar Vergadering. Main Hall

12h00 onwards:                     850 series judging and a “gymkhana” event will be held. Those not participating can display Volvos and enjoy each other company.

18h30 -19h00 onwards          Dinner at the Resort venue/ Ete by die oord fasiliteit – Dinner will be served at 19h00 whereafter we will have a few brief formalities/ Ete word om 19h00 bedien waarna n paar formaliteite sal plaasvind.

Sunday 13 October 2024:     

 07h00-8h00                Winner circle photo shoot will take place and we will say our goodbyes
