October 2006 saw as going to Bloemfontein also in the Freestate and we booked out an entire Holiday Resort, Maselspoort just outside Bloem.

We attracted over 50 Volvos that weekend and save for 2 or 3 chalets the resort was full of Volvo enthusiasts from all over South Africa, a very successful weekend!

Our weekend coincided with the Currie Cup Rugby final between the Bulls (from Pretoria) and the Cheetahs (from Bloemfontein), needless to say there was a lot of talk, joking, pulling hair and arguing – eventually the teams drew and shared the Cup.
